The Heidemann Foundations, charitable foundations based in Germany
Maren Heidemann-Stiftung was established in 1999. It is a private charitable foundation incorporated under German law and governed by the law of the State of Hesse (regulator is Regierungspraesidium Darmstadt).
Die Maren Heidemann-Stiftung besteht seit 1999. Sie unterstützt Kinder und Jugendliche. Sie fördert besonders sowohl Maßnahmen zur Gewaltprävention als auch die Arbeit mit jugendlichen Tätern. Die Stiftung ist insbesondere offen für innovative Ansätze.
The foundation is especially interested in innovative ideas and methods.
Projects outside Germany can also be funded. If they are not conducted by registered bodies they will require a higher level of proof of how the monies are spent.

The foundation sponsors projects in support of children and young adults, predominantly aimed at reducing violence. Projects are directed at both victims and offenders.
